About Me

I’m a Vehicle Engineering student with a growing focus on intelligent driving and embedded systems — exploring how sensors, actuators, and algorithms cooperate to move machines safely and gracefully.

My interests span robotics, artificial intelligence, and system design, especially where mechanical motion meets computational logic. I enjoy working on embedded control projects — from building small autonomous vehicles to experimenting with sensor fusion and real-time control.

Outside the lab, I write about retro games, technology, and digital culture. Through 8-Bit Thinking, I try to connect nostalgia with modern innovation — tracing how circuits, code, and creativity shape the way we understand machines and ourselves.

About This Site

This site runs on Hexo with a customized Cactus theme, gradually extended with in-house components so it can handle bilingual long-form writing and multimedia storytelling.

Architecture & Design

  • Light/dark themes, a zh-CN/en-US structure, reading progress indicators, and switchable grid layouts keep the experience comfortable on any device.
  • Typography, spacing, and indentation adapt per viewport, while footers list related reading and language toggles to reduce bounce rates.
  • A “paragraph temperature” color palette signals tone: cooler hues for technical notes, warmer shades for essays.

Content & Editorial Workflow

  • Custom Markdown extensions (Spoiler, Details, Underline, Highlighter, Markdown Grid, media embeds, inline video, quote-badge) support layered narratives.
  • Front-matter fields cover language, tags, and revision metadata, paired with lint scripts that validate formatting before commits.
  • Post encryption is supported: selected entries can be gated behind a passphrase before the body is revealed.
  • notes posts auto-generate dedicated indexes, smart TOCs, and chapter navigation to balance readability with maintainability.

Automation & Observability

  • The Hexo pipeline stays lean: run npm run build:all, push artifacts to Cloudflare Pages, and keep every build reproducible.
  • Cloudflare Workers proxy media assets and attach security headers to lighten the primary origin.
  • Sentry plus Vercel Analytics monitor client-side errors and heatmaps, guiding UX refinements.

Roadmap

  • Integrate Algolia search and AI summaries so readers can surface highlights inside lengthy essays.
  • Broaden language support (ja-JP, fr-FR) and reinforce the i18n toolchain to avoid duplicate translation work.
  • Launch interactive timelines and data index pages, turning research notes and travel logs into navigable experiences.

Despite the extra features, the core stays true to Hexo’s simplicity: draft locally, test, ship with a single command, and keep both content and code versioned for easy rollback.
